Resuscitation Level 7 Course: (8 hours including written exam) - $530 (includes ACLS Manual)

This course has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and has been approved for 12 CME credits for maintenance of Professional Standards MOPS purposes.

This course requires pre-reading of the NZRC Advanced Resuscitation for Health Professionals Level 7 manual in order to successfully complete the NZRC written test. The recommended pre-reading time is 4-6 weeks prior. We recommend you order the Advanced Resuscitation for Health Professionals Level 7 manual at the time of registration with Conference Matters (may be obtained online through Conference Matters or directly online through the NZRC website)

Pre-conference Workshop

Thursday 2016 Start 8:30am Course Duration: 8 hours
Horncastle Arena, Christchurch

The course covers and includes:
• (Pre-course reading purchased by yourself - in advance to prepare for the written test)
• Basic Life Support (Adult, child and baby including choking)
• Advanced airway management (single and double person bag masking, guedel airway insertion, LMA’s insertion)
• A chance to practice Intubation (not assessed now in NZRC level 7)
• AED and rhythm recognitionM
• Adult and child collapse algorithms
• Anaphylaxis management
• Scenario based training including adult and child
• A compulsory multi choice test and skills evaluation of airway management, safety using a defibrillator and cardiac rhythms

This is a NZRC CORE Level 7 Approved (8 hrs) course run by Jason Burns (NZRC Instructor Level 4-7, NZDA Approved Instructor, RNZCGP Endorsed Instructor).
