Q. Do I need a Certificate of Attendance for CME points?
A. Yes, one will be available in the back of the Conference Proceedings, available at the meeting.

Q. Do I send my Certificate of Attendance to Conference Matters to earn CME points?
A. No, keep the Attendance Certificate for your records, and apply for your MOPS or AVE CME points through your normal quarterly reporting to the RNZCGP. You may be asked for a copy of your Attendance Certificate by the RNZCGP or New Zealand Medical Council, so file in an appropriate place.

While the conference may be  approved for up to a maximum of 33 hours GPs attending can only claim for the conference sessions they attend.  Delegates will need to complete the self-recording form (available in the proceedings booklet).  This form can be kept as the Certificate of Attendance, so practitioners participating in GPEP 2 or MOPs have the necessary documentation for submission to the RNZCGP when this is requested.

Q. Are baby sitting services available?
A. Yes, some of the hotels do offer babysitting services. Please check with them directly.

Q. Is a 'Kids Club' service available?
A. No, as the conference is being held at a location where there is no accommodation onsite, there will be no 'Kids Club'.

Q. Is transport available from Rotorua Airport to the hotels?
A. Yes, the Airport Shuttle meets all Air New Zealand Link flights. The cost to transfer to town is approx $20-$25.

Q. Are there any other options for accommodation?
A. Conference Matters has negotiated discounted rates for accommodation at Millennium Rotorua, Pullman Rotorua, Sudima Hotel and Princes Gate Hotel however there is limited supply at the hotels. If accommodation is fully booked there are numerous other options available in Rotorua. Visit www.rotoruanz.com for further options.

Q. What is the temperature going to be?
A. Smart/casual clothing is suitable for inside the meeting. Warm clothes required for outdoor activities.

Q. Can my non-medical partner attend the conference for breakfast, morning, afternoon teas and lunch breaks?
A. Yes, as long as they have a name badge, are registered to attend the meeting and have paid the 'Spouse Registration' fee. They are also welcome to attend the meeting sessions if interested.
