Workshops Preliminary Day is applying for 8 hours of CME

ACLS Level 7 = 12 CME credits                                  ACLS Level 5 = 5 CME Credits


Q. Do I need a Certificate of Attendance for CME points?
A. A Certificate of attendance will be emailed to you 7 days after the conference. If you are a member of the RNZCGP, CPD points will be uploaded automatically for you within 10 days of the completion of the conference.

Q. Do I send my Certificate of Attendance to Conference Matters to earn CME points?
A. No, keep the Attendance Certificate for your records, and apply for your points through your normal reporting. If you are a member of the RNZCGP, CPD points will be uploaded automatically for you within 10 days of the completion of the conference.

Q. Are baby sitting services available?
A. Yes, some of the hotels do offer babysitting services. Please check with them directly.

Q. Is a 'Kids Club' service available?
A. No, as the conference is being held at a location where there is no accommodation onsite, there will be no 'Kids Club'.

Q. Is transport available from Rotorua Airport to the hotels?
A. Yes, the Airport Shuttle meets all Air New Zealand Link flights. The cost to transfer to town is approx $20-$25.

Q. Are there any other options for accommodation?
A. Conference Matters has negotiated discounted rates for accommodation at Millennium Rotorua, Pullman Rotorua, Sudima Hotel and Princes Gate Hotel however there is limited supply at the hotels. If accommodation is fully booked there are numerous other options available in Rotorua. Visit www.rotoruanz.com for further options.

Q. What is the temperature going to be?
A. Smart/casual clothing is suitable for inside the meeting. Warm clothes required for outdoor activities.

Q. Can my non-medical partner attend the conference for breakfast, morning, afternoon teas and lunch breaks?
A. Yes, as long as they have a name badge, are registered to attend the meeting and have paid the 'Spouse Registration' fee. They are also welcome to attend the meeting sessions if interested.
