Sue Whitby
Sue Whitby has been an Occupational Therapist for 20 years. She worked in a variety of settings in England before moving to Rotorua with her family in 2003. Sue enjoys rehabilitation and has worked at QE Health continuously since moving to New Zealand. Sue has always had an interest in working with people with a mixture of physical and psychological problems. Since working at QE Health she has developed her skills and interest in working with people with chronic pain.

How is it relevant to my practice as a GP? How can my Practice Nurse be involved? How do my clients access such a service? When is the right time to refer? What do I do with my clients once they have been through such a programme? These questions will be answered in a two hour interactive workshop where specific rheumatological and chronic pain conditions, especially high end cases that complicate a GP practice, can be discussed. Our approach is holistic.
