MaryRose Spence

MaryRose established her private dietetic practice, the Nutrition Consultants, in Auckland over 20 years ago. It’s a busy practice with about 120 GP’s and Specialists referring on a regular basis. The Nutrition Consultants provide advice on a range of nutritional issues, however over the last 8 years have specialized in weight loss and the associated problems that come with excess weight – mainly type 2 diabetes and raised cholesterol levels.

The WeightWise course has been developed as part of MaryRose’s campaign to provide an easier, more successful and more permanent way to weight loss. It uses leading edge technology to determine an individual’s body makeup and then food requirements are matched according to this information. It is an initial 7 session course with messages reinforced with ‘food filled’ audio-visual displays that provide professional, unbiased information and deliver a refreshing approach to the usual weight loss messages. WeightWise is available online, as individual consultations and in small groups.

MaryRose is frequently consulted for her expert opinion by television, radio and the print media and is the author of ‘Size does Matter – how to eat, drink and lose weight …forever’.
