Important vaccination updates for both old and young New Zealanders
MSD Dinner Symposium
Friday, 13 June 2014 Start 7:50pm Duration: 60mins Rotorua Convention Centre

We all know the truism that prevention is better than a cure…

…and recent news on global antibiotic resistance reinforces the importance of taking every opportunity to protect all of our patients, both young and old, against infectious disease.

In this symposium, Dr Stewart Reid will talk about two significant immunisation updates for New Zealand:

• RotaTeq (Rotavirus vaccine), the newest paediatric vaccine to be added to the New Zealand vaccination schedule.
• ZOSTAVAX (the Shingles vaccine) and how it can help your 50+ patients avoid the devastating consequences of Shingles.
