| Dr Anurag Snehi Ramavat Laryngologist and Phonosurgeon Assistant Professor Department of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research Chandigarh, India ramavatanu@gmail.com; ramavatanu@yahoo.co.in She has graduated in Medicine at the Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, India and attained her postgraduate training in Otorhinolaryngology at Government College Patiala, India. She pursued her Senior Residency from a Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi. Later on she joined a premium tertiary care Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi to pursue her career as Senior Research Associate for a period of four years in the field of research in Rhinology and Head & Neck Oncology. Currently she is working as Assistant Professor at another tertiary care Hospital and Institute, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India for more than three years. Her areas of interest are Laryngology (including upper airway disorders and laryngotracheal stenosis), Phonology and Rhinology. At PGIMER she developed Voice clinic and is the faculty in-charge of the Voice lab which has a Stroboscopy unit with an inbuilt video recording system and a voice analysis software. Voice clinics are run for academic purposes meant for the trainee residents. Her current research activities involve basic and clinical research on Vocal cord paralysis. She is involved in an animal trial with an aim to study the effect of gene therapy for recurrent laryngeal nerve reinnervation. |
