Zac Moaveni
Zac Moaveni is a consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Middlemore, Kidz First, and Starship Children’s Hospitals in Auckland. Prior to this he held a consultant position at Waikato Hospital as the Director of Plastic Surgery and Supervisor of Advanced Surgical Training in Plastic Surgery. Zac also maintains his private practice in both Auckland and Hamilton. His main interests are in cleft and craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. He is also passionately involved with charitable surgical missions overseas. When not at work he relishes spending time with his wife and four fabulous children. Other flaps as Wolfe grafting, split skin grafts, Lazy S, VY repair,and Z plasty will be presented. Discussion on choice of technique, relaxed skin tension lines, and complications. Instruments and gloves will be provided.
