How to Treat Fungal Nail Infections Successfully
Concurrent Workshop Repeated
Friday, 13 June 2014 Start 2:00pm Duration: 55mins Room 12
Start 3:05pm Duration: 55mins Room 12
Most fungal nail infections result only in cosmetic complaints from patients, but for some the nail may become ingrown, thickened, discoloured and crumbly. If left untreated, fungal nail infection can be very painful in shoes and can cause corns down the outside of the nail. In some cases, the nail can lift from the end of the toe and debris can collect under it, altering the curvature of the nail. For these people a fungal nail infection can be a serious problem which affects their ability to enjoy life.

This workshop will give you a practical update on the treatments available for fungal nails including topical treatment, oral treatment and laser treatment.
