Richard is a Gynaecologist at the Oxford Clinic and consultant to the Christchurch Women’s Hospital. He undertook his specialist training in Nottingham in the UK and then moved to Wellington, New Zealand to take up a post as Lecturer in the University department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. From here he moved back to the UK to become a Research Fellow in Gynaecological Endoscopy in Guilford, before spending a year as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney. Special clinical interests: Richard has a wide variety of clinical interests, in particular the use of hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery to investigate and treat menstrual problems and endometriosis, areas in which he has published numerous scientific papers, book chapters and has presented to international meetings. |
