Start 9:35am Duration: 55mins Room 11
Spirometry is an invaluable tool that can be used to detect, follow, and manage patients with lung disorders. Technology advancements have made spirometry more reliable, affordable and relatively simple to incorporate into a routine GP visit, however the clinical value and interpretation of spirometric measurements is dependent on the correct operation of the spirometry device, as well as correct patient technique, and evaluation of the results.

The aim of this workshop is to provide an introduction to spirometry, highlighting the importance of correct operation and technique, as well as evaluating and interpreting the results in primary practise.
